The ISPO World Congress is the premiere global event for multidisciplinary prosthetic and orthotic care. This will be the 14th edition of the ISPO World Congress, and its first time ever in India.

ISPO has been organizing the World Congress every third year, and the frequency will be increased to every second year after 2013. The World Congress is held in different countries where rehabilitation professionals from across the world present evidence based on clinical research and new technologies to benefit the patients and the P&O community. Companies working in this field showcase their products, fabrication technologies, newer designs and materials to benefit all participants.

This multifaceted event will create an interactive forum for orthotists, prosthetists, physiatrists, orthopaedic surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, rehab engineers, clinical psychologists to come together to gain a deeper understanding of the latest advancements, products, facilities and assistance available in prosthetic and orthotic care. The event will create synergy towards the common objective of providing best rehabilitation options to persons with disabilities in order to regain functions and independence.

The interdisciplinary programme of advanced training sessions at the world congress of ISPO will offer a unique platform for further professional development, discussion and an exchange of ideas and experiences amongst teachers, clinicians, researchers, technicians, manufacturers, doctors and therapists.
